It's almost become a tradition that I do a springtime gallery every year, and once again I have been digging in the image archives.

We're in the middle of the dampest, grayest, wettest, warmest winter I can remember for a long time, and I'm dreaming of spring.

I have been going on these fishing trips twice a year with a bunch of friends for more than a decade. These days it's more trip than fishing for me.

Fishing on the Danish coast during the spring months - March, April, and May - can be a true blessing. Many species are about, but particularly sea trout and garfish can be plenty and easy to catch. This small gallery shows some scenes from Denmark this spring.

This time of year is usually accompanied by a boost in personal energy level. Though sometimes difficult to describe, we can "smell" spring in the air. As our semi-hibernation comes to a close we notice an increased desire to plan for upcoming outdoor events.
